Organoid-based assays for functional personalized medicine strategies
The ORGANOMIC project aims at developing functional personalized medicine tests exploiting PDOs. These cell-based assays have the potential to complement or expand on the genomic approaches currently used in precision medicine. We aim at combining PDOs with microfluidic devices called “tumor-on-chips” to allow the generation, standardization, and functional assessment of PDOs. |
The ORGANOMIC project aims at delivering two predictive (CHEMOGRAM and IMMUNOGRAM) and one prognostic (INVAGRAM) devices for digestive and lung cancers. It is divided into 5 Workpackages (WP) articulated as follows:
Management, Valorisation, Economic evaluation & Dissemination
Ensure deliverables production & ORGANOMIC successful completion
Clinical trials & PDO generation
Improvement of the treatment of frequent and severe cancers
PRE-ANALYTIC: Tumour-on-chip designs for ORGANOGRAMs
Drug screen PDOs using high-throughput robotic method for an estimate of 175-345 patients
Functional assays and quantitative read-outs for ORGANOGRAMs
Look deeper into Organogram outcome
Automatic Processing of Organograms
Development of robust algorithms for the automatic processing of PDO images
