Detailed Scientific Program &
Structure of the Proposal

The ORGANOMIC project aims at delivering two predictive (CHEMOGRAM and IMMUNOGRAM) and one prognostic (INVAGRAM) devices for digestive and lung cancers. It is divided into 5 Workpackages (WP) articulated as follows:

▪ WP1 will ensure the project management and coordination, also addressing the medico-economic evaluation, management of IP, valorisation and technology transfer as well as the dissemination strategy towards the scientific, medical, industrial, and policy communities.

WP2 will deal with patient enrolment and collection of samples within dedicated ORGANOTREAT and ORGANOPREDICT trials for the generation of PDOs, amplification and biobanking. This will include molecular portraits for quality control and integrated approaches.

WP3 will generate prototypes of microfluidic devices compatible with PDO culture conditions allowing the development of 3 distinct “tumor-on-chips”: CHEMOGRAM, IMMUNOGRAM and INVAGRAM

WP4 will develop high-throughput read-outs based on functional assays, allowing the analysis of PDO behaviors (cell death, proliferation, immune interaction, response to drugs or invasiveness) mainly using microscopy-based imaging and morphometry.

WP5 will develop AI (focusing on deep learning) algorithms, mathematical models and software to analyze data and produce predictive and personalization scoring from ORGANOPREDICT and ORGANOTREAT trials.
